I want to make it clear that I work on this site very often.
This means that I change things often.
That means that  new poems can get added and old poems deleted. It also means that poems change. I am constantly trying to refine them. It doesn't always work.
Oh well.
There are sections that are very empty and some completely empty and there are sections that won't be here nextweek......or later.
For example I have not as yet entered very many love poems.
I will.
Currently there are two projects.
The first is a really long piece about death.
Okay...I know that's a pretty overwritten subject but I am confident that as soon as people stop dying it will fade in popularity.
I have been writing about death for a long time.
A lot of people I have cared about have died. I think they checked out a little early. After all the average time a room is rented for is...what....in our little culture...75 years.....70 years...something like that.
It's my first wife's fault.

Her Name was Melissa. Melissa deLaguna. Melissa Ann Lopez deLeo deLaguna.....Hechtman.

She derailed my poetic universality by dying at 25.
It screwed up my focus.
I hold a grudge.
The second project is to attempt to keep writing topical poetry about now and what's nuts about now.
Hence (and you just don't see as many hences as you used to in a sentence. hey...hence..sen/tence...cool...I'll use it)
There are two examples in the site.
One is in the section marked "OpEd Poems" and the second is in the section marked "OpEd Archive". Some poems currently in submission to various publications or webzines may be removed when accepted for publication.
